Be it or figurative artwork - within this select group we present artists that are in the National Portrait Gallery Canberra, have been winners and finalists in awards such as the Shirley Hannan $50000 Portrait Prize, Archibald Packing Room , Black Swan, Alice Bale, Norma Bull, The Mortimer, and the Australian Art Excellence Medallion. Terrianne has received numerous awards including The Australian Art Excellence Medallion, The Ming MacKay Award and has exhibited throughout Australia and Internationally.
Barbara has been the recipient of more than 50 art awards including in 1986 the AME Bale Over Seas Scholarship.
This award presented Barbara with the opportunity to visit the World’s most famous art museums, absorb European culture, participate in workshops in Wales and Cornwall, and sketch her way through the British Isles, Russia, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco; parts of Scandinavia, and Central Europe. During this time her work was included in the International Patel Exhibition in Lille, France in 1987.

Cathy Van Ee
Cathy van Ee has had diverse experience in image making as an artist and designer.
Her industry experience includes an extensive career as a book designer & illustrator for Penguin Books Australia, five years in Philatelic for Australia Post selecting designers and artists from around Australia for our postage stamps, and 4 years the Manager of the Walker St Gallery in Dandenong.
She is now teaching drawing and painting
